God I am sooooo full
March 21, 2008So its noon on a Thursday morning. I seriously regret my decision to get up at 11:00 today. After last weeks LA adventures, these last few weeks of school are going abso-fucking-lutely kill me. I’m over school, I just wanna get real paid man. Though I’m sure that a few months into living on my own, especially in a city as expensive as LA, I’ll want to enroll back in college as soon as humanly possible.
Oh Shit! Interesting stuff!

Hulu is pretty much one of the coolest things I have ever seen. The thing that amazes most is the load time. The clarity is fantastic, but the load time makes youtube look like shit. I’m not too impressed by the selection, I know it’s just Fox and NBC or whatever, but some shows and movies are just clips, rather than entire features or full episodes. I can forgive the lack of complete seasons, but at least give us complete episode.

“30 Tips to Rejuvenate Your Creativity“
Pretty interesting stuff, it all seemed like common sense, but at the same time, just a bit of effort is needed to keep the juices flowing. Last week I had an old friend tell me he needed five or six drinks to get the creative juices flowing before writing a paper, I think he needs an intervention, but then again, I go down to the pond to feed the ducks a few too many times a week, so who am I to talk.
I need some creativity rejuvenation, I’ve been in what feels like a lull for quite some time. Though, I think you have to actually be productive in the first place, and then sink into a lull, but I don’t know. Either way, I need to get my ass into gear and start producing actual good ideas that come from a sincere place, and not ones that I think people will think I’m cool for having. I feel like I’m getting close to having some sort of style that I comfortable with. Though I have only acknowledged this style through movies I watch, the recognition of certain themes and ways of telling a story, both with the characters and with the cinematography, has really helped me develop what I like to think is a personal “style”.
Now comes the hard part, to turn off the TV, put down the bong, and actually start producing ideas like the ones that I have come to love. I might need a while…haha. This is where the move to LA comes in handy.
Anyways, read the list, see what you think.
I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THIS FREAKIN MOVIE!
